Study: iPhones Twice As BlackBerries

The iPhone is twice as reliable as the Blackberry after one year of ownership, a new study by SquareTrade finds. 「iPhone」はBlackberryと比較して信頼性が2倍であるという報告。

携帯電話などの保証サービス会社SquareTradeによると、iPhoneの1年後の故障率は5.6%、2年後には9.2%から11.3%になる見込みとのこと。一方、BlackberryとTeroの1年後の故障率は11.2%と16.2%、2年後の故障率は14.3%と21.0%なので、iPhoneの信頼性はBlackberryの２倍とか。

とりあえず、キーボードもソフトウェアなので、可動部が少ないというのが大きいでしょうか。
